Update: Cowen Calls MSFT/ERTS Rumor “Silly”
Cowen analyst Doug Creutz writes in a research note this afternoon that the likelihood of such a deal is “inconsequentially low.” He notes that EA gets over 30% of its revenue from Sony PS2 and PS3 and the Nintendo Wii, “which would almost certainly disappear in the event of a Microsoft acquisition, since presumably the whole point of the acquisition would be to secure EA’s products as Xbox 360 exclusives.” EA gets another 10% of revenue from Sony PSP and Nintendo DS handhelds, “which would conceivably be at risk in event of a Microsoft acquisition.”

Clearly Sony noticed the disappointment when it was said there would be no demo (or little chance) so they’ve just stuck the old E3 one in there. Even if the devs arnt happy with that (based off what they said about they’re feelings on E3 demo not being suitable for a mass public release).
Just hope people dont expect to much of it, from what i’ve seen that E3 demo is extremely short.

Gek, their argument was something about time of getting it in there, and they’ve worked it out.

But I am starting to want it – This way I could go play God of War in 720p…. Updated in general. which is a good thing having never been near the series before.

I like remastered games. Gives people like me the opporunity to actually experience it with less eye bleeding.

So the demo’s included, but it’s not on the disc? You have to download it. So… why not just release the demo for everyone?
