New Uncharted 2 footage scheduled for July 9 on GTTV
Geoff Keighley has tweeted that gamers can expect some new footage of Uncharted 2 on GameTrailers TV next month.
Here’s the tweet:
“Great shoot today @naughtydog. Wait until you guys see the amazing cinematic we will premiere, and new single player too. July 9th.”
There ya have it.

I kind of get the feeling we’ll see 90% of the cutscenes before the game is even released. Think I might go media blackout on this now to savour some original story pieces for when the game is actually in the drive!

Its what I do for example Casey Hudson just keeps releasing more and more tidbits of the Mass Effect series. Guess the best way to Market a game is to give out spoilers.

Why I am staying away from videos and media. If I know I am gonna get the game why keep finding information about it. Articles that talk about games like the preview of Arkham asylum serve no purpose but to spoil.

That’s a problem that comes into contact only with the hardcore consumers, enthusiasts and fans.
Gametrailers and IGN pull in mainstream gaming consumers, and that is why the games whore themselves out, becuase their presence needs to filter through to the mainstream.
To be honest, Sony has been awful at this, and they have ended up spoiling their games, with very unimpressive sales numbers to show for it.
