Microsoft has rebranded its Xbox Originals service on

All the Original titles currently on offer for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace are now featured as part of the new Games on Demand service.

Microsoft said at E3 that it will launch a games-on-demand service for older Xbox 360 titles, including BioShock, Assassin’s Creed, Crackdown, LEGO Star Wars and Sonic the Hedgehog.

I’ll be interested in seeing how much these retail for. I surmise it’s still going to be ‘more than you can get them in the shops for’. The gouging bastards.

No doubt. I don’t think they’ll ever match the sort of discounts retailers (especially in the UK) will offer.

The only way it’ll work for me is if I’m able to buy MS points at a ludicrously discounted price… which to be fair does happen sometimes. ;)

Are they discontinuing the service or just re-branding it? There’s still a few games I’d like to buy… I know I could just buy second hand but I like the convenience of running from the hard drive.

They’ve just pulled all the originals into the GOD service. They’ll be adding this 360 stuff to it soon.

Will achievements be included on the GOD-service?

I can’t see why they wouldn’t be. They should be just the same as the rip you make when you install the game on your 360… just with different authentication.

Shame that KOTOR didn’t make it.
