    My guess:

    - Lost Planet 2 going to PS3
    - Grand Theft Auto IV GOTY for PS3 with Lost and Damned and Ep 2
    - Modern Warfare 2 going timed exclusive to Xbox 360
    - The first decent Sonic game for consoles in 9 years is announced and exclusive to Dreamcast 2.
    - BioShock 2 going timed exclusive to Xbox 360
    - Versus XIII going to 360 and is a full exclusive.

As much as I guess a lot of the TLAD ones are more fun guesses, It wont happen because as far as I know Microsoft paid for TLAD entirely, not just exclusive rights to it.

My left field guess, AC2 PS3 only?

    #31 6 years ago
  32. ross_k

I don’t have a clue what it could be, but I have a feeling it will be Microsoft buying a game/franchise and making it exclusive. :( or a timed exclusive. Whatever it is it should be a good laugh, watching sad people arguing.

WRC I think is still exclusive to PS3, because Evolution Studios had the rights, that would be quality but I think it will be something bigger than that involving a massive game/franchise.

  37. tenthousandgothsonacid

@Hunam “as far as I know Microsoft paid for TLAD entirely, not just exclusive rights to it.”

It’s “Michael Martin:Xtreme Speaker!” being exclusive to the Wii, includes frilly shirt waggle controller so you actually point at MPs and bring them to order.

    #39 6 years ago
  40. Psychotext

Probably just me… but I’m not really interested in news of released games being ported (Mass Effect, L4D, MGS). I think it’s going to take a new game becoming exclusive to truly rouse the faithful.

    #40 6 years ago
  41. ross_k

I have a feeling it will be a released game being ported, like Psychotext said, as long as it’s L4D to PS3 I’ll be happy, if its MGS to 360 I won’t be too bothered because everyone who can’t afford/doesn’t want a PS3 deserves to play the game. Plus it’s been exclusive for almost a year.
As long as Microsoft don’t get exclusive rights to a game I want I won’t be too bothered.

I don’t understand why people would get upset about exclusive DLC (or exclusive anything else) going non-exclusive. I really enjoyed playing GTA Lost and the Damned on my 360, and don’t see why PS3 owners shouldn’t get the chance to enjoy it.

When I paid to download it, it didn’t occur to be that I was also paying for bragging rights over it, with PS3ers. Which is the attitude some people seem to take.

Can’t be anything GTA related. Must be Fallout 3. I predict all Fallout 3 packs coming to PS3.

Possibly some announcements on future DLC too.

Can we expect Pippa Funnel’s Horse-Off to be exclusively PSOne for 8 months?

Are Nintendo re-releasing the Super Scope but ONLY in Japan?

Last guess (do i get a prize if i’m right?) but the next Halo is multi-platform…

“amazing ‘good’ OR amazing ‘insane violence’”

I find most of Pat’s posts work best if you imagine him saying them in a sarcastic, world weary tone a la Jack Dee.

    Try it like that :

“Twenty minutes to go. It’s going to be amazing.”

and I stopped reading Marina Hyde for this

    #150 6 years ago
  151. Esha

    And the saga continues…

    MGS5 going multiplatform
    – If the 360 gets Bluray or they kick Hideo off the MGS team (it might happen, look at Ninja Gaiden).

MGS4 going to 360 with added content (playing as Raiden)
    – If the 360 gets Bluray or they kick Hideo off the MGS team and settle for a version with lower resolution textures and bits cut out, causing much 360-owner fury over how Konami sold them out and ripped them off.

GTAV exclusive for the PS3 or 360
    – This really wouldn’t make much sense in the recession, in fact, the next GTA is probably going to be multi-platform and released across all platforms at the same time (look at the Fallout 3 DLC situation for evidence).

    FF Versus XIII going multiplatform
    – Let’s hope so, eh? I’d actually like to see that, it kind of stinks that the 360 isn’t getting this, and it doesn’t look like it pushes beyond what 360 hardware would be capable of.

    New FF game for 360
    – Crystal Chronicles XBLA HD?

    GTAIV DLC for PS3
    – This will probably happen, as multi-platform shenanigans are becoming more and more prevalent, where the hardware allows it.

Mass Effect 2 coming for PS3
    – This is unlikely as MGS for the 360, but because Microsoft has unofficially owned Bioware since some time before KOTOR/Jade Empire. I’d like to see it, but as long as Mass Effect keeps coming out for the PC I’ll live. But it does stink for those that only own a PS3, poor buggers.

    Lost Planet 2 for PS3
    – Would anyone care? Srsly.
