Japanese hardware sales – PS3 still beating Wii
The latest Japanese hardware figures show PS3 is still outselling Wii, news likely to have Mr Sony jumping for joy.
Here’s last week’s chart. Data for the week ending April 5.
- DSi – 53,680
- PSP – 48,118
- PS3 – 20,362
- Wii – 15,525
- DS Lite – 8,729
- Xbox 360 – 7,812
- PS2 – 5,394

360 holding steady at around the 8k.
Good sales for PS 3.
Wii seems to be on the down trend, I wonder will this spread to the west eventually?

You can’t say that the 360 is holding stead at 8K if that number is up from the 5k it was doing the last few weeks. So not its not “holding steady” they had growth this week.
