Metal Gear 5 and Trico for GDC? Nope…
Did your heart skip a beat when you saw the words “Kojima” and “Ueda” on the GDC speaker list? Did you little willy twitch at the thought of Metal Gear and Trico reveals? Not so fast, Ringo. Put your pants back on.
Sources assure VG247 that neither appearance will be a showy affair. If you were hoping for megatons from the pair, you’ve picked the wrong show.
Kojima’s going to be specifically talking about development issues, apparently, and Ueda – as described on the GDC site – is just going to be chewing the fat with buddy SUDA51 on the subject of eastern and western dev on a panel. There’ll be no major bombshell from either star.
No Metal Gear 5 or Trico at GDC, right? Good.

You just broke my heart on MGS5 (a little bit) and you broke Puds for TRICO (mine just as much as MGS5
)
But Kojima is still expected to announce something.

Yeah, their panels might not be showy. Thigns coming from GDC, we just don’t know.
However, I don’t expect to see Team ICO’s game there. I didn’t when I saw the panel. I was however hyped, becuase I am part of a community of geeks who will tantilise over every little detail he says.

Come on, Ueda was only ever in for that panel, not to show anything off. Ain’t going to be no major announcements from GDC this year (apart from Molyneux giving it some welly)
