Street Fighter IV ships 2 million units

Street Fighter IV’s now moved more than 2 million copies worldwide, Capcom’s confirmed.
The game released last Friday, and will be followed by the new Street Fighter movie on February 28.
“The movie was developed in order to help rebuild the Street Fighter brand by drawing in new fans and reinvigorating fans of old,” said the firm
“In fruition of its policies, Capcom has achieved the feat of breaking the two million copy mark despite the economic crisis with this first iteration of the Street Fighter series in 11 years.”
Where’s our copy, Capcom? And where’s our FightStick, Mad Catz? Just not good enough.

The movie appears to redefine the word “shit”.

There are far too many good people online on this game…
I’ve played about 100 games and only won about 40%!

I played 5 matches and won 1. Holy fuck I’m a SF veteran and considered myself to at least be better than most. But fuck was I taught a lesson last night. Someone playing Sagat DESTROYED me. What’s the world coming to.
Admitedly, perhaps I should have at least practiced with the game before going straight online to get my arse kicked.

@ Blerk
You’re absolutely right! That movie makes me admire the old one. At least the old one had characters that actually look like their game counterparts.
