According to this PlayStation.com page, PS3 Firmware 2.53’s to release tomorrow, and it looks like a biggie. There’s full details through the link.
Stand-out features include full-screen Flash support for web browsing and the ability to let the machine turn itself off after a background download.
We’ll let youknow when it goes live.

N.B. The only update for 2.53 is the fullscreen flash business mentioned above, the rest is in 2.50 and 2.52

Full screen flash support is nice, though. At least whenever I’m watching Yahtzee on the PS3, I won’t have to fiddle with the sticks anymore to get a decent zoom on it.

Yahtzee probably isn’t a good example of things to watch full screen. The quality zoomed is absolutely horrific.
It’s ok though, we wont tell anyone you’re watching redtube, nor that you’re fiddling while you do it.
