Rumour: WipEout HD causing lock-ups with large friends lists

wipeouthda21.jpg

PS3F’s reporting that some of you are getting lock-ups with WipEout HD. Apparently forumites on the official US PS boards are putting the problem down to having a friends list with more than 50 people on it.

Our very own Daniel Plainview was experiencing problems with it yesterday, so there’s probably something in this. That’ll teach you to know lots of people.

More through the link.

Oh it’s real, if I was the type of person that made videos of stuff I’d be making one now.

Don’t know how they missed it, they’ll patch it pretty quick I’d reckon.

My list was full (100) I’m a whore. I’ve culled it down a bit but not enough.
I was just playing online under my other account I came 4th in all but one on my races, I think Im missing something or I just suck.

Great game though, nice change from running around shooting stuff.

How the fuck does anyone have 50+ friends on PSN?

It looks up because it’s forcibly warning you to go outside and get some sunlight.

Pretty easy really, I’ll accept pretty much any request from an Australian, increases the chances of me getting an aussie server in cod, no offense to you “foreigners” it’s just pointless trying to play with an american/european hosting (as much as I’d like to).

Most of them I don’t message they are just a way to get a game invite.
