Japan chart shake-up as Monster Hunter drops out
That’s the end of that, then. The latest Media Create figures show that Monster Hunter’s dropped to fourth place in the Japanese chart, and it looks as though the dominance of the Capcom PSP beast, Mario Kart and Wii Fit is finally starting to crumble. Last week’s figure’s here. Data for week ending June 1. Thanks, NeoGaf.

A bit of a revitalised chart after a few very slow weeks. While Monster Hunter’s spell of extreme dominance may be over, I’m expecting it to hang around for a while. And Sony can hardly be disappointed, as it’s another PSP game at number 1, while there’s another new entry at number 8. It’s amazing how well it’s doing in Japan.
And look at that number 10. Honestly. A game for minimalists? A tool for treating agoraphobia? What the shit is it?

About time there was a bit of a shake-up, tbh. Nice to see Mana Khemia making it in there – seems there’s still hope for the PS2 yet.

Empty Space Training?
Someone’s got to be taking the piss with that one.
