Live announcement rumoured for Mid East next week

According to this, Microsoft may be readying to make an announcement in the Middle East next week, which the piece speculating it could be the launch of Live in the region. The announcement will be made in Dubai, apparently.

Is this assuming they don’t find 0.0001 grams of drugs of mr PR bloke’s socks and send him to jail for 4 years?
