Xbox One: new video explains why it's built for the future, watch here

Xbox One has received another new video from Microsoft, this time explaining why the console's use of the cloud, SmartGlass and Kinect mean it's a machine built for the future. Watch it here.

The clip features Microsoft community rep Graeme Boyd and director of product planning, Albert Penello. They discuss how the cloud will allow Xbox One games to have dedicated servers across the board, the ability to take all of your save states, achievements, purchases and profiles anywhere. Penello said that with that in mind, any Xbox One in the world is technically yours.

It also talks about Skype, snap, DVR recording features and Kinect recognition.

The clip follows two Xbox One videos out of Microsoft. The first looks at the console's multiplayer enhancements, including the new rep system and two types of achievements. Watch it here.

The second video is essentially a friends list tutorial that shows off the new Xbox One dashboard, and touches on new friends-based features offered by the console. Watch it here.
