Xbox One: a "couple" of pre-orders left at GAME store

Although launch-day units are still available from GAME's website, the chain seems to be the first UK retailer to flag limited supplies of the Xbox One.

The Box Park store tweeted that there are just a "couple of days left to guarantee an Xbox One for launch".

Box Park has "a couple of preorders left", apparently; although it's just one store, it's an indication that the chain may be experiencing higher demand than supply in some areas.

The store said that Amazon had run out, although Amazon.co.uk still has day one editions available; GAME may have been referring to a widely-circulated story regarding Amazon's US flagship, which indeed sold through it's pre-order allocation of both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In the US, Best Buy has secured more launch day units, Gamestop seems to have run out again.

Thanks, Units.
