Humble Indie Bundle 4 launched with star-studded line up

The pay-what-you-want Humble Bundle scheme offers you the chance to score some of the hottest tickets in indie gaming on the super-duper cheap: Bit.Trip Runner, Jamestown, Super Meat Boy, and more.

Just a few hours into the bundle's lifespan over 150,000 purchases have been made, with the running total sitting above $790,000.

The core bundle contains five titles - Bit.Trip Runner, Jamestown, NightSky, Shank and Super Meat Boy - but if you pay anything above the average price you'll score Cave Story+ and Gratuitous Space Battles as well.

The current average price is $5.25, with the highest bid so far from HumbleBrony at a whopping $3,500.

All Humble Bundle titles are cross-platform, supporting Linux, OS-X and Windows, and DRM free. Proceeds from ales are split between charities and developers, with purchasers welcome to send their revenue into whichever stream they choose - including to the bundle itself.

Since you'll also score a Steam key where applicable in addition to a DRM-free version, you can gift any duplicate titles, making this a very timely holiday package.
