Forza 4 'Season Pass' Confirmed, to offer six add-on packs

Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios have confirmed six new add-ons for Forza Motorsport 4, also announcing that there will be a 'Season Pass' for the game allowing access to all six DLC packs for a discounted price. A similar pass has been offered to fans for Gears of War 3.

The Season Pass will be available from the 14th October onwards on via Xbox Live or at participating retailers. It'll set you back 2400 Microsoft Points, but adds up to an overall discount of 30% off what the six packs would cost separately.

In total the six packs will offer 60 extra cars on top of those on the disc and will be released between November 2011 and April 2012.

In addition to recieving those six DLC packs for one price, those who purchase the Season Pass will also get the first major game add-on, the American Muscle Car Pack, free of charge.

The American Muscle Car pack includes the 1965 Pontiac GTO, 1968 Pontiac Firebird, 1970 Buick GSX, 1970 Dodge Cornet Super Bee, 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS, 1969 Shelby GT500 428CJ, 1971 Plymouth GTX 426 Hemi, 1967 Dodge Cornet W023, 1968 Dodge Dart HEMI Super Stock and the 1964 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt.

Microsoft also confirmed today that the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home of the Indianapolis 500, will feature in Forza Motorsport 4. Microsoft claim that Turn 10 "went to painstaking lengths" to capture the speedway as realistically as possible.

The demo for Forza Motorsport 4 will be released on Xbox Live on 3rd October. Fans who preorder will net a Launch Bonus car pack which includes an extra five cars for their in-game garage. See the trailer for the American Muscle Car pack for yourself below.
