Blur cut-scenes continue to give story moments in games the gravitas they need, and Halo Wars 2 is the latest example.
Microsoft and Creative Assembly have released the launch trailer for Halo Wars 2. The trailer is cut from the CG cut-scenes we’ll be seeing in the game come February, and shows the desperate crew of the Spirit of Fire fighting an overwhelming force.
All cut-scenes in the game are made by Blur, the studio responsible for nearly all the good CG trailers for games you remember. More recently, the studio remade all cut-scenes in the Halo 2 remake, part of the The Master Chief Collection.
Halo Wars 2 is out February 21 on PC and Xbox One, and February 17 for Ultimate Edition owners. It’s an Xbox Play Anywhere title, meaning your digital purchase grants you access to the game on both platforms.
