MechWarrior Tactics revealed as free-to-play, turn-based strategy

Follwing a teasing countdown timer, A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. Games and Roadhouse Interactive have detailed MechWarrior Tactics.

The online multiplayer title is due sometime this year, and has players battle it out in tactical turn based combat.

You'll be able to earn experience and resources, building a collection of mechs and customisation options. An in-game store will allow you to purchase new resources without having to click out to a storefront.

Being turn based, you'll be able to participate in asynchronous matches, and the usual suite of ranked games and global leaderboards will be available, along with bigger prizes for higher-ranked players. A cinematic replay will help you relive your glory moments, too.

For more details hit up the game's bare-bones website, and visit its Facebook and Twitter.

Thanks, Shack.
