To The Moon developer Freebird Games has released the reveal trailer for its spiritual sequel A Bird Story. The game takes place in the same world as the studio’s original game. Note: this is NOT the same game as To The Moon 2, which is still happening.

To the Moon, the emotionally charged indie RPG from Free Bird Games is heading to Steam. It tasks players with entering the subconscious of a dying man to help him fulfil his dream of going to the moon. It’s pretty sad.

Kan Gao, the composer for To the Moon, has announced the title will be released on Steam “within the next month or two,” according to a Twitter post. The lovely game puts players in the shoes of a elderly man who wishes to relive his life and change his past.
