A Bird Story trailered: To The Moon's spiritual sequel announced
To The Moon developer Freebird Games has released the reveal trailer for its spiritual sequel A Bird Story. The game takes place in the same world as the studio's original game. Note: this is NOT the same game as To The Moon 2, which is still happening.
Although it's a sequel, the timeline of events takes place before To The Moon. The developer's blog says it's a "Simple, surreal short about a boy and a bird with a broken wing. Despite being story-based like most of my games, there are essentially no dialogues throughout."

On the game's plot, the blog adds, "While Dr. Watts and Dr. Rosalene aren’t in this game (chronologically, it takes place before their time), the boy in it eventually grows up to become their patient in “episode 2″ of the series."
Dr. Watts and Dr. Rosalene are of course the protagonists of To The Moon.
