If you didn’t pick up the special edition of Max Payne 3, never fear. The awesome classic multiplayer character skins included in the fancy pants version will be offered for sale post-launch. Rockstar’s given a little run down on each of the characters for those unfamiliar with them, too. Max Payne 3 hits the US on May 15 and Europe on May 18, for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A PC release will follow at the end of the month.

Tecmo just confirmed a Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Special Edition for an October 2 release for £50.

It’s an HMV exclusive, and can be pre-ordered here.

The pack contains, according to the PR you’ll find after the break:

• Limited Edition 80 page ‘Ninja Gaiden Treasury’ featuring:

PCGames.de’s posted an image of the German Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising special edition, revealing the gift to end all gifts – a free helmet.

We have no idea if the helmet’s coming to the UK. It’s irrelevant, anyway: we’re now committed to owning the German helmet.

Kotaku’s posted what’s apparently a retail listing for a red 360 Elite.

It’s $400, says the shot, which comes from a Toys ‘R’ Us.

This is most likely the Resident Evil 5 special edition rumoured a few weeks ago. It’s never been officially confirmed.
