Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition is now available on Steam. The Overhaul Games strategy RPG, was released on PC first through the official website back in November. It contains: The Black Pits; new characters Dorn Il-Khan, Neera the Wild Mage, and Rasaad yn Bashir; a new collection of player character voice sets; native support for high-resolution widescreen displays; improved multiplayer support with connectivity between all platforms; and over 400 improvements to the original game. MDK2 HD is now available on Steam, and if you own the original game in your library, you can get the HD upgrade for 20% off. Originally exclusive to the Beamdog service, Overhaul Games’ version of BioWare title will run you $14.99 on Valve’s service. The HD version of the game was originally released in October. Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition will be released on iPad this summer courtesy of Overhaul Games. It will launch alongside the PC release and include the same improvements as well as the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion pack all running on the Infinity Engine. This also includes the new story content, extra quests and a new member to the party. No exact date just yet.

It looks as though the HD version of MDK2 will be released next month by former BioWare co-founder Trent Oster’s Overhaul Games via Beamdog digital distribution service. Try saying that three times, really fast. Oster said the HD port will contain improved visuals and gameplay, and will run you $14.99. The game was released on WiiWare back in May. Thanks, Joystiq.
