Hydrophobia to be released episodically on XBLA

Dark Energy Digital plans to release Hydrophobia onto Xbox Live via a three-episode series.
According to a preview in Xbox World 360, each episode will last five hours and released over a 12-month period.
If the game proves popular, DED may release three more episodes.
To refresh your memory, Eurogamer says Hydrophobia stars Kate Wilson who is “a woman with a fear of water, who is trying to escape from the depths of a sinking ship after terrorists bomb it during a party. It’s a mixture of platforming and Dead Space-style atmospheric action.”
No word on other formats or a release date.

Hydrophobia sequel set in “drowned Boston”
Speaking to PS3 Attitude, Hydrophobia developer Pete Jones has confirmed that the game will have a sequel set in the east US – before a date for the original game has even been announced.
“Actually the sequel to the game is set in a drowned Boston – that’s an exclusive by the way – (New York has had more of its fair share of fictional and real disasters over time) so we do have plans for an expansion of the Hydrophobia world,” Jones told the site.
The first game – a PS3 action title set in a watery future – is in development at Blade Interactive.
