Transformers Universe studio Jagex hires 19 staff from defunct 007 Legends team
007 Legends developer Eurocom was shuttered last month, and along with it, 42 remaining staff were made redundant. RuneScape developer Jagex has offered 19 jobs to the group to help with development on its next MO title Transformers Universe.

007 Legends developer forced to make significant amount of redundancies
UPDATED: GoldenEye Reloaded and 007 Legends developer Eurocom is set to be hit by a significant amount of job losses. According to GamesIndustry International, the struggling studio is expected to be reduced in size by the end of the day.

007 Legends opening cinematic highlights all-star cast
007 Legends is out later this month, and Eurocom has released the opening cinematic to the game which looks very Bond-like. It also makes note of the game’s all- star cast via the credits. Have a watch below. 007 Legends releases October 16 on PS3 and Xbox 360 and will release in November on Wii U.

007 Legends – Die Another Day and Licence to Kill-inspired missions announced

007 Legends trailer: On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
Love hurts, just ask George Lazenby whose one appearance as Bond-James-Bond, saw him fall in love and have his heart broken when his new bride was gunned-down in a drive-by shooting.
A new trailer for Activision’s 007 Legends shows-off the mission based on Lazenby’s adventure, in which we’re told that “To love, is to risk losing it all”. There’s also a lot of gun fire on a chilly mountainside; s’no joke, head through the break for the video.
007 Legends launches on October 16.

Amazon notes Kinect features for 007 Legends
According to the Amazon page for 007 Legends, the Xbox 360 version of the game will support Kinect. The online retailer goes so far as to list the game’s title as “James Bond 007 Legends Kinect”, suggesting it may even be a motion control exclusive. Nothing in the announcement suggests otherwise, so we’ve asked Activision for clarification. 007 Legends is due on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in northern autumn.

Celebrate 50 years of Bond this fall with 007 Legends
Activision has announced it’s celebrating the 50th anniversary of the James Bond franchise with 007 Legends, a selection of missions from the film franchise featuring an “original, overarching storyline tying together six classic Bond movies.”

Quick Shots: GoldenEye 007: Reloaded gamescom screens
Activision has sent over a batch of screenshots from GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. Earlier this week, we posted a video featuring the brand new Mi6 Ops Missions from the game, which contains levels separate from the campaign that span varied environments from the story. These missions also contain a challenge to complete different Assault, Elimination, Stealth and Defense objectives. GoldenEye 007: Reloaded will arrive in stores this fall and is being developed by Eurocom.
