Solved anagram says Final Fantasy XIII announcement coming Friday

A post on the official Final Fantasy XIII website has had a challenge for intrepid fans to solve, and solve it they did.
“Solve this anagram to find out what lies ahead: A Henchmen Inventor Tent Unto. Check back Monday for the answer!” read the site.
Milliseconds later, a few members of FinalFantasyXIII.net‘s forums put their heads together and overcame Square Enix’s brain teaser. “Announcement Nov Thirteenth” was their verdict.

Scribblenauts team teases “very special” announcement

Over on Scribblenauts’ Facebook page, 5th Cell is teasing a big announcement for its tiny game.
“Get your rooster hats ready,” reads the status update. “We have a very special announcement coming very soon…”
What could it be? A sequel? New items? More rooster regalia? We have no idea. Do you? If so, why not comment on it? Sure, our word entry field may not bring your every whimsical idea to life, but it’s still kinda neat.

Sony to make mystery announcement on March 31

Several US sites have had mails from Sony telling them to watch for a PlayStation-related announcement on March 31.
No one appears to have the remotest idea what it is. We’d be lying if we said we did.

Toshiba expected to formally announce HD-DVD drop imminently
According to this, Toshiba is expected to formally announce the demise of the HD-DVD format “within the next few days – not weeks.”
Japanese publication NHK confirmed the decision on Saturday, with Reuters subsequently backing up the story.
“The company source told Reuters that Toshiba was in the final stages of planning to exit the HD DVD business and that an official decision would be made soon,” said the news agency on Saturday.
Toshiba said this morning that, “We are considering our future business policies and plans, and studying the market response [to recent developments].”
