Guild Wars 2 writer announces new gig as Destiny "loremaster"  

John Ryan, one of the lead story writers for Guild Wars 2, has left ArenaNet to work with Bungie on Destiny.

Ryan announced the news on Twitter, stating his job as the "editor, loremaster" for Destiny begins next week.

He joined AreaNet in 2010 and was one of the main writers of the game's dialogue, lore and narrative.

Ryan previously worked as a writer for MSNBC.com, Microsoft Game Studios, MSN Games, and Xbox Live.
