Papers, Please dev releases demo for next project

Papers, Please developer Lucas Pop has put out a very early demo for his next game, Return of the Obra Dinn.

Return of the Obra Dinn is a first-person adventure for PC with a retro aesthetic.

The titular Obra Dinn is a merchant ship which drifts unmanned into port in 1808, six years after its supposed loss at sea.

The player's role is to figure out what happened to the ship and its crew.

You can download the demo, check the controls and read Pope's caveats about the bare-bones taster on his website.
