Live-action Mortal Kombat X series in the works from new Warner studio

Blue Ribbon Content, a company owned by Warner Bros. which creates short form content, is working on a live-action Mortal Kombat X series.

A release date for the series has yet to be announced, but according to Game Informer it will feature both new and returning characters.

Blue Ribbon was just recently unveiled by Warner, and you can have a look at what the studio is working on via Variety.

We'd expect it to release close to or around the same time as Mortal Kombat X on April 14. We'll keep an eye out though because we could be way off.

The latest fighter from NetherRealm Studios will be released on PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
