Super Smash Bros. Melee returning to Major League Gaming Pro Circuit in June

Super Smash Bros. Melee will return to the Major League Gaming Pro Circuit and will be featured at the MLG Championship in Anaheim, CA, from June 20-22, MLG has announced. Other confirmed games include Call of Duty: Ghosts and StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm. Details and passes will be released later this week. It was announced earlier today the title will be included as part of Evo 2014 as well, this time with Nintendo’s approval.

    Pretty happy about this.

    Probably the only game I know the ins and outs of enough to understand what’s going on fully at a competitive level. It’s been making a decent enough resurgence since everybody realized Brawl wasn’t suitable for tournaments.
