Dead State demo expected soon, possibly before the end of January

Dead State developer DoubleBear has confirmed a demo will soon be available for the zombie survival RPG.

The taster will debut on Steam Early Access. In a Kickstarter update, the Troika-veteran led team is aiming to get it out the door before the end of the month, but can't make any promises just yet.

The "First Seven Days" demo will include six to ten hours of gameplay, more than 12 locations, one hidden area and two conditional allies, a new version of the combat UI, and as yet unseen weapons and equipment.

Dead State was Kickstarted in July 2012 for double its funding target. It passed through Steam Greenlight in April 2013.
