Deception 4: Blood Ties heading to Europe and North America in March

Deception 4: Blood Ties has been given a release date by Tecmo Koei for Europe.

The follow-up to Devil’s Deception, first released in 1996, allows the player to take on the role of the ‘bad guy, and much like its predecessors, Deception 4′s strategy is focuses on action revolving around a deceitful main character known as the Devil’s daughter.

Deception 4 follows the story of Laegrinna, “an animated fragment of an imprisoned Devil’s soul,” as she battles her enemies by luring them into traps.

Depending on the manner in which an enemy is killed or captured, the Devil’s three servants: Veruza, Caelea and Lilia will reward points and upgraded traps

Combos can be uploaded online and other network elements include leaderboards and the ability to upload or download user created missions called Cross-Quests. P

Deception 4: Blood Ties is produced by Fatal Frame creator Keisuke Kikuchi and will be released on PS3 and Vita In North America on march 25 and in Europe on March 28.

    Trapt was pretty terrible so here hoping this is a return to the series better entries.

    Looking forward to it actually theres just something slightly compulsive about setting up traps for stumbling heroes. Then getting really strange potted histories of each of them that you just killed.

    This may sound crazy but I hope they add more blood and gore (Or at least more details to deaths). They all feel like cheap PS1 death animations (Where as they could be as detailed and crazy as MK9′s fatalities).

    Even though it may have been a weaker entry and on the easy side, I thoroughly enjoyed Trapt and it led me to investigate the earlier games. One of my more anticipated for 2014, for sure.
