Tactical Intervention is the new shooter from Counter-Strike creator Minh “Gooseman” Le, and it’s out now on Steam as a free-to-play release.
There’s a trailer and screens over on the game’s Steam hub, showing off lots of gunplay, squad tactics and insane car chases.
It’s a spiritual successor to Counter-Strike and it sees players entering the fight as either a terrorist or counter-terrorist across a wide range of maps.
While free-to-play, Tactical Intervention does include some paid DLC that is available now. The Terrorist Starter Pack costs £11.99 and includes the following permanent items:
- A unique Bulldog pet
- AK-47 Assault Rifle
- UZI Para SMG
- Flak Helmet
- Sphinx Pistol
- XTrainer Shoes
- Midnight I Holster
- The Bomber Character Model
The Counter-Terrorist Starter Pack is also £11.99 and includes:
