Ducktales Remastered footage shows off Amazon, Transylvania levels

Thursday, 6th June 2013 06:07 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Check yourself for memory loss with new Ducktales Remastered footage, showing off Capcom’s remake contrasted with the 1989 NES original.

The two videos show off the Amazon level – in a side by side comparison – and Transylvania – which you probably remember even better – courtesy of IGN. Pay close attention to the original voice cast, which is something of a coup.

As well as the nostalgic levels seen below, Ducktales Remastered will include all-new content, such as a new end level set on Mount Vesuvius. It’s coming to PC as well as PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360, and is in development at WayForward Technologies, acknowledged masters of sprite art. Expect it during northern summer.

Thanks, Destructoid.

Am I the only one who feels there is something off about this and the other classic Disney remake (Castle of Illusion)? They don’t look bad but…

I think ducktales looks amazing, but you never get the same feeling as when you frist tried the classic. However I will still be buying this. They should also do a VITA version

The more news and videos that trickle out about this, the more excited I get.

I think they look absolutely amazing, to be honest. And going by the trailers, WayForward really care about what they’re doing with this. They’re fans. And that’s the best sort of development team you can have.
