Monster Hunter Online: free-to-play MMO announced for China, trailer & screens inside

Monster Hunter Online is a new free-to-play MMO heading to China. Capcom has just announced the game along with a debut trailer and screens.

The is being published by Tencent, which also publishes Crytek’s Warface in China, and was built using Crytek’s CryEngine 3.

Capcom said the game has only been announced for China, and no other announcements have been made regarding development outside the region.

    Fingers crossed that this come to the west…. what was the name of the other “MMO” Monster Hunter that came out on PC and 360 but never left Japan?

    Uh… Monster Hunter Frontier. You could play it if you in NA, but you have to go through VPN AND if they catch you speaking English they actually ban you. It was kind of messed up.

    yep…the same goes for PSO2 atm. An english patch is there, but when the catch you using the english macro…its like NSYNC said: BYE BYE!
