Rock Band and Dance Central website servers attacked, users should change passwords

Harmonix has said its Rock Band and Dance Central website servers have suffered an "apparent attack," and registered users will need to change their passwords just to be safe.

All the sites have been taken down at present while the firm tries to figure out how the invasion occurred. However, there's no indication that any users information was compromised, but Harmonix is recommending anyone who registered on any of its present or past sites, and are using the same password elsewhere to change it for safety purposes.

Once the websites are back up and running, upon log-in users will be promoted to change their passwords before being allowed back in.

No person information containing numbers which can be used to defraud you are stored by Harmonix.
