Project Diva F, Soul Sacrifice and Vita dominate Media Create charts

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F and Soul Sacrifice took the top spots in the Media Create charts for the period of March 4-10, with the former moving 110,229 units on PS3 and Comcept's debut moving 92,396 units on Vita. The handheld also took the top spot on the hardware charts, thanks to last month's price drop. While sales were only up 1,038 units over the week prior, it still moved 63,581 units which is considerably better than its recent sales history.

Seven titles debuted for the period, and while Project Diva F came out on top, if you combine the standard release of Soul Sacrifice with its Double Pack, it was the clear winner for the week with 114,446 units sold.

Other debuts for the week included Far Cry 3, which hit the seven spot on the chart moving 33,281 units on PS3, and Crysis 3 which landed at number 16 and moved 9,602 units on PS3.

Moving on to hardware, Nintendo unit sales were down across the board over the prior week, as were sales of PS3. However, PSP sales were up from 11,171 units to 18,023.

Xbox 360 sales were also up from 486 the week prior to 738 units moved. Looking at the top 20, one would wonder why sales of Microsoft's console were up, but if you look at the full chart over on NeoGAF you will see that it's likely due to slot 22 - Far Cry 3 - which moved 5,722 units on the console. It was the only title for Xbox 360 to crack the top 30.
