The Witcher series has sold over 5 million copies
The Witcher series has sold over 5 million copies, CD Projekt RED has announced. Yesterday, the studio confirmed it is working on the third installment, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, set for a 2014 release. To celebrate both the new sales figures and the announcement The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition for Xbox 360 was given a permanent price drop, and The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director’s Cut and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition are 50% off until February 8 .

Yea but lot sales are from GoG and they didn’t invest in marketing so much so I am pretty sure they made lot of money.Their team also is not as large as others studios.

And the game isn’t out on neither PS3 or the Wii. So it is a pretty good number they have there.

If they would have released 1 and 2 on PS3 this might be doubled. Seeing how the series is on PC, and 360 making those rounds they need to re-evaluate the market appeal to broaden the audience

We all know The Witcher deserves far more than it has received… I am just glad CD Projekt is sticking to making quality games, and not caring about sales numbers.
I will purchase anything made by them because of this.
