Avalanche working on Just Cause 3, Mad Max for next-gen – rumour
Just Cause developer Avalanche Studios is believed to be working on a new entry in the sandbox action series, as well as a Mad Max game. Industry sleuth Superannuation pulls all the pieces together, noting that Avalanche CEO Christofer Sundberg suggested recently that Avalanche is developing games exclusively for nest-generation platforms now. Both projects have been heavily rumoured for years. The column also discusses some of Avalanche’s cancelled projects.

An open world game based on action like Mad Max 2 The Road Warrior would be glorious

This would make sense seeing that the whole studio just went dark right after Just Cause 2 and a couple little games.

Just cause 3 would make for a great next gen launch title. Hours of gameplay to keep you busy until the real heavy hitters show up for the consoles first Holiday sale season.
