Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z job listings state the game is headed to next-gen consoles

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z may be heading to next-gen consoles, if a job listing posted by developer Spark Unlimited is any indication.

According to the senior designer listing dug up by IGN, the game is described as a "third-person action shooter on next generation consoles."

Listings calling for a senior FX artist and engineer describe the game as "a third-person action slasher with horror elements," with particle effects that will "capture the graphic quality of effects in anime."

Job openings for a multiplayer engineer and AI engineer were also listed, with "multiplayer/co-op functionality," noted in the descriptions.

The senior design listing is the only one which makes note of "shooter" elements.

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is a zombie-themed spin off to Ninja Gaiden and is being developed as a collaborative effort between Spark Unlimited, Team Ninja, and Dead Rising creator Keiji Inafune.
