Yakuza 5 wouldn’t be a member of the Yakuza family without some fun arcade games to play. This time, Sega’s title will feature Namco’s Taiko Drum Master, a fun rhythm action game.

This week, Famitsu reported Taiko Drum Master will appear in Yakuza 5 in full arcade cab form, and includes the songs Mappy Ondo, Nijiiro Yumeiro Taikoiro and Shinsekai Yori.

Andriasang reports that the collaboration between Sega and Namco Bandai was announced in Famitsu in a retrospective feature on the last ten years of the Taiko Drum Master series. Yakuza series producer Toshihiro Nagoshi was also pictured playing the full arcade version of the game.

I always wanted to play taiko, even in game form!
Hope this minigame, and the game itself, of course, will be much fun and come out in Europe with a minimum delay. Even better with no delay at all.
