Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation developed by Abstergo
Although technically Ubisoft Sofia is doing the work, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation writer Richard Farrese told Kotaku that canonically, modern-day Templar front Abstergo is behind the Vita title. Narratively, the game is explained as a commercial spin-off to the Animus, Abstergo’s history-exploring technology which powers the franchise’s central conceit. That’s adorable. Does anybody need anything cooled off because I’m doing a pretty massive fangirl right now. Liberation releases alongside Assassin’s Creed III in late October.

I’m just concerned over the implications of the first female protagonist in the series being in an ‘Abstergo’ game. I smell a traitor. A bit long to post here, but the implications are definite. http://ludisvictis.blogspot.com/
