Zen United to bring Persona 4: Arena to Europe

Zen United has announced that they're planning to bring Persona 4: Arena to Europe this year.

The publisher is making bringing over niche fighting games something of a habit - they're the publisher of titles like Blazblue and Arcana Heart in Europe. Persona 4: Arena is the strange combination of a much-loved RPG franchise and fighter, seeing characters from Persona 4 battling it out alongside some guests from Persona 3.

It's developed by Arc System Works, the same team behind Guilty Gear and Blazblue, and is slated for the 360 and PS3. Atlus Japan released the box art yesterday. There'll be some sort of announcement about this at MCM Expo on Saturday, but we're not sure what it is.

Unlike most fighters it comes packing a full story mode that continues on where the massive Persona 4 left off as well as the usual suite of fighter modes. It's part of a massive Persona 4 push by Atlus including an Anime and a Vita remake of the original PS2 title.

Some assets sent out by the folks at Zen can be found below. It's out in the US and Japan this Summer, and should likely follow in Europe not long after. If you live in London and hear a blood-curdling scream, that'll be Johnny screaming in joy at this announcement.

Still no news on a Persona 4: The Golden announcement for Europe - but this announcement makes that seem a little more likely at some stage.
