Metal Gear Solid HD Collection gets Vita trailer

Following news of a late June UK release last night, Konami’s released a new trailer for the Vita version of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. The video details the unique capabilities the handheld version will hold over its console brethren like touch controls, as well as trophy support and Transfarring between Vita and PS3.

Get the video below. Thanks, Andriasang.

Metal Gear Solid HD ‘Collection’ eh?

It’s nice to see that Konami are still playing fast and loose with the term.

The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for Vita will not include Peace walker only in Japan?

@1, technically speaking, everything is HD that is more then SD, so, they are actually correct.

What?!
How the hell can Peace Walker NOT be included in the PAL version?!
With all the noise about transfarring bollox you’d a thought that atleast was a no brainer?
First MGS1 NOW PW??????????
Ah god Sega, Konami and Capcom are forever dropping the ball.
Namco seems to be the only one representing the Japanese market without fuck ups.

@3

I wasn’t talking about the HD part.

I was talking about the ‘Collection’ part and specifically inferring how Peace Walker isn’t part of the package. So it’s more of a ‘Double Pack’ than an actual ‘collection’.

@6, ahh. That’s true. That is actually stupid to not include Peace Walker.

Unless, they are doing a complete MGS:PW Vita graphics port.

It clearly says HD “edition” not collection.

^ Good point. …Its still retarded Peace Walker isnt in there though. Like i said on the other article, if you’re holding off the console versions for this one, you miss out and Konami expecting people to get both is wishful thinking. Still, its far from being the worst version on the game they’ve released, or at least one of the games.

Oh it does you’re right, the problem is, somebody forgot to tell the retailers in the EU/US.

Also, the title ‘Metal Gear Solid HD Edition’ is a tad misleading in it’s own right for obvious reasons.

#2 – The Japanese get a free screen protector skin with their edition, quite a trend for recent Vita games, doubt we’ll get it.
