NCsoft still “looking at various options” for a Guild Wars 2 release on consoles
During NCsoft’s financial call today, the firm noted it is still considering a console release for Guild Wars 2, but console access won’t be available until sometime after the game’s release on PC.

According to GuildWarsInsider which listened in on the call, the firm is still “in the preparation stage”
for the game, but at present, “nothing has been finalized yet” but it’s still “looking at various options” for the MMO’s release.
NCsoft even touched upon the beta for the MMO, confirming that large-scale testing will start in March and April, and depending on the results, “a finalized commercialization schedule will be determined.”
The firm will also take “seasonality factors” into consideration for the “final commercialization” of Guild Wars 2 and Blade & Soul.
ArenaNet announced the beta time frame in January, and promised the game would be released this year.
You can listen to the audio clips from the call through the link.
Thanks, Massively.

Many a MMO has wanted to come to the 360, but MS only allows EA into their network it seems. It’s a shame, I would love to see a game like Kingdoms of Amalur with its MMO style, but actually be a MMO, be on the 360.
