New Cave Story 3D screenshots

Saturday, 15th October 2011 16:59 GMT By Andrew Groen

It’s been a long time coming, but Cave Story 3D is nearly ready to be released on the Nintendo 3DS. Now, Sudio Pixel and NIS are releasing a new batch of screenshots to tide us over. Cave Story 3D, possibly the most universally lauded indie game of all-time, will be arriving on the Nintendo 3DS on November 8 in the US, and November 11 in Europe.

The images look a bit grainy, but keep in mind that these are 3DS screens blown up probably twice as large.

You can scope out some of the screens below, and be sure to check out the rest of the gallery over at Destructoid.

If they used 2-D sprites and made them pop via the 3-D, that would have been much better.

Blown up or not, Resident Evil looks infinitely better on 3DS. There is a dire lack of polygons, and the textures are extremely blurry. I sure hope it looks better in its true form.

I am a fan of Pixel, and so far this isn’t living up to the original or the Wii-make.

^ Resident Evil 3DS shots really arent a fair comparison, Capcom are notorious for their bullshots.
