Sega competition video suggests impending Daytona announcement

“Rolling start!”

Sega’s posted a video as part of a giveaway for a new game it’s announcing soon, suggesting an announcement of a digital release of Daytona USA is not far off.

While  clue was provided in help people solve what the title was – with winners getting codes for the game on PSN – the audio itself was the infamous “Rolling Start” line in Daytona. That gave the game away rather quickly.

Daytona USA was recently rated by Australia’s ratings board for a release on Xbox Live Arcade.

The video’s below. Look at the adorable bunny. The original Daytona USA was released in arcades in 1993, and was designed by Toshihiro Nagoshi. That Toshihiro Nagoshi.
