EG giving away Vindictus beta codes
Lovers of hack and slash MMOs, this is your day.

Eurogamer’s currently in the midist of giving away codes to the beta of Vindictus, the next MMO from Nexon-owned studio devCAT.
The game’s a prequel to MMO Mabinogi, set chronologically a couple of hundred years before the events of Mabinogi. The game itself will be free-to-play and will make money through micro-transactions through an in-game shop.
The game launched in North America last October, but Nexon has kicked open the beta gates for the European release late this year. Attempt to get a code here.

Managed to get a code but the site they send you to to use it doesn’t appear to be accepting codes.
It’s meant to let you ‘verify’ it before the 15th sept.

From what I’ve seen Nexon aren’t allowing the keys to be used, until the 15th.

Yeah but it still says you can ‘verify’ them beforehand. Not exactly sure what they mean by that though. Assumed it’s when they give out more keys than available test slots, so if you don’t register it early it becomes invalid.

Looks like we had to wait for the 15th for that too, even though it didnt say that. The beta’s up and running now.
