Just when we thought we knew what to expect from the Ninja Gaiden series, KOEI Tecmo has announced that the game will feature full PlayStation Move functionality.

This will be one of the most high-profile games in months to include support for Sony’s motion controller/camera combo.

“We are really excited to announce this fantastic news at gamescom”, stated the leader of Team NinjaYosuke Hayashi.

“NINJA GAIDEN 3 is all about slicing and chopping through flesh and bone and PlayStation Move bring players even closer to the game’s protagonist Ryu Hayabusa. The game will be compatible with all Move peripherals and it will feature full compatibility with this exciting new hardware.”

There is no need for this at all..
This a hardcore game, where hardcore gamers use only the classic controller..

It’s a sword game dude. It does sort of make sense to give MOVE users the option. I’m actually hoping MGS:Rising makes good use of the move. I’d like to see a must have move killer app which we’ve yet to seen. And don’t give me that sorcerey PS2.5 harry potter looking bullshit.
