Gunstringer at retail “because it felt like a retail game,” says Microsoft
Michael Wolf, senior global marketing manager at Microsoft, has said that it decided to bring The Gunstringer to retail because it “felt like a game” for retail.

The title was originally an Xbox Live Arcade title when it was first announced. But Wolf said that, having had a “quality title,” a retail release felt right for the Twisted Pixel title.
“The reason we took it to retail is because it felt like a retail game,” Wolf told VG247, speaking to Alex Donaldson here in Cologne at Microsoft’s Play Day event.
“We were playing it and we knew we had a good quality title. And being on disc allows that high quality of content to get to more people. ”
The Gunstringer releases on September 13 for Xbox 360 via Kinect.

No harm on the game but this looks like becoming another Child of Eden where what looks like a great value XBLA Kinect title becomes a low demand retail title.
