New Castlevania: Lords of Shadow screens look hot
Some new screens for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow have hit the internet. They look hot.

As you can see, the screens show the dark, detailed world of Lords of Shadow. They also have a slight God of War feel to them, with the main character being over-shadowed by a huge adversary.
Expect a lot more from Castlevania: Lords of Shadow at E3 next week.
The game, developed by Mercury Stream for PS3 and 360, is due this year.

@1 Same as producers and creators are involved in Resident Evil movies. Kojima Productions probably help them giving advice and share technology. Thats it.
On topic.
These shots remind me of GAIA without Morphological Anti-Aliasing. Looks ok.
but i’m still very skeptical about creators of Castlevania. It is a shitty team behind Jericho and other bad games.

I remember the E3 trailer. The voice acting just blew me away. For me, what will make this hopefully stand apart from the God of Wars and Bayonettas, is a really deep and well executed storyline.

Fratos – GoW was a Rygar 1.5, so it’s okay
I don’t like the art style of this one though, it looks nothing like Castlevania.

@ 10: So far you only seem to like Crysis 2 (but only the PC version) and any PlayStation exclusive (especially inFamous 2).

and not every playstation exclusive. I really don’t care about Killzone 3 that looks in my opinion like outdated bull.
