Surprising! I really expected the Beatles to do better than that. Especially considering it launched two days early so they had extra time to make sales.

@Blerk I think it’s different audiences. I have no interest in guitar hero/rock band but I’d love to play the beatles version. But that’ll set me back the full whack for instruments etc so I’m not buying.

Conversely, most of my GH/RB playing mates have no interest in the Beatles.

I just bought Guitar Hero 5 myself. I was pleasantly surprised to recieve a free copy of World Tour with my purchase, which was cool because I didn’t play the last one.

It would be rather disappointing for all parties involved if sales of Beatles: Rock Band continue to trail GH5 ones, considering how much the license must have cost…

It’s interesting to see the sales spread over the different machines. I’m surprised to see that Colin McRae was number 1.

Truly surprised.

I’m not surprised . For starters i always suspected that while universally loved , the beatles are loved enough by the usual target of such games , to beat Guitar hero .

Everyone knows them , amost everyone loves them , but wich young adults and wich adolescents loves them enough to buy a game ? A lot but most likely less than guitar hero fans .

Hell GH would beat Rock band 3 if it was there instead , i guess . Despite the obvious difference in quality , actual love for music , and based on brand recognition
